Why The R2
Harness 1700W of induction power to easily push 1kg (2.2 lbs) to first crack in 7-9 minutes. Automatic pre-heating, dynamic airflow, and real-time IR temperature sensing give you total control over every roast profile.
Record, share, and auto-replay roast profiles and recipes. Engineered for heavy use, yet easy to clean and maintain.
Pure Roasting Force
Industry Recognition
“I paired the Bullet's meticulous data tracking with my own cupping notes to prep my coffees for the preliminary and qualifying rounds to reach the Finals at the USRC competitions in the 2022 and 2023 seasons.”
“Our four (!) Bullet roasting bar gives us the flexibility to roast just as much as we need to keep our shelves stocked without sacrificing the ability to fill larger wholesale orders. It makes for a lean and tight manufacturing model that's been working really well for us.”
“I bought the Bullet R1 in 2018 to use for competition roasting. At the time I was considering the Ikawa, the Stronghold and the Bullet, and out of the three the Bullet seemed to me the strongest in terms of innovation and the one most similar to a commercial roaster in terms of capabilities and versatility. After roasting two championship winning coffees on the Bullet I feel qualified to claim that it is on par with larger commercial machines in terms of the quality it is able to produce.”

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use the Bullet for business?
Yes! Bullet R2: More power, greater precision, and easier maintenance for more flexibility and faster workflows than the R1.
What are the power requirements?
Bullet R2: Available in 110V-120V (15A draw) version (1700W peak).
What is the lead time for the Bullet in the US?
Generally speaking, we have stock available and orders ship within 4–7 days from our California warehouse.
How can I vent the Bullet? Do I have to?
The Bullet does not include a built-in venting solution, so you will almost certainly need to design your own based on your roasting environment. Roasting large batches of coffee generates thick smoke, moisture, and fine chaff. Roasting full batches on any Bullet model without adequate outdoor ventilation or air cleaner is not an option.
If you plan to roast large batches, or to roast dark, you absolutely need a venting solution.
What is included with my purchase? Do I need to order any additional parts?
There is no need to order additional parts when you place an order for the Bullet. Bullet R2 comes with: Bullet R2 Roaster, Active Cooling Tray, Chaff Collector, USB Type-C Cable, Toolkit, and documentation.
What is the warranty period?
All models (Bullet R2 Pro, R2, and R1) come with a 2-year warranty when purchased from Aillio or an authorized retailer/distributor. Note: Using improper ventilation, failing to maintain your roaster, or modifying hardware may void your warranty. You may also purchase Extended Warranties for 1 or 2 more additional years at Roast.World.
